Hello folks. I am wondering if anyone can please help as I am at my wits end. I have a project with the North Eleven theme. I have a simple menu at the top when viewing at full size and on desktop and the menu works fine when overlapping the any item in the global header. However the menu drops down quite a bit and when it hits the content of the container underneath the menu appears under it overlapping. Can anyone please help. I need the menu to stay in front of everything on the page no matter how much it drops down due the amount of items. I am at my wits end and can’t take it anymore. Thank you.
The menu is in a group called the global header. The text and photo of the lady sit in Content and it is at the part that it hits the content it goes behind the text. I have been trying all today to try and sort this out nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
OK, I played around with the North Eleven project, and what I found was that if I MOVED the menubar out of the global header to the very top of the page and then set the Z-index to 31, the sub-menus appeared above the content images. To test this, I also made the menu STICKY so that I could scroll the content under the menubar. Then when I activated the sub-menu, it appeared above the content.
I’m not sure exactly why the sample was created the way it was; you might have to ask @dan if there is another way to solve the problem without moving the menubar.
Thank you Robin and thank you for trying to help me, I do appreciate it. I tried what you did but moving the menu out then made the menu full width and other problems. I think it is a problem with the template/ sample, as the other people who have this problem are using the same template.
It is honestly getting to the point where I am thinking I have made the wrong choice to use this software because if it can’t even put a menu on the top of the page, there isn’t much point. I renewed my subscription last week and now I really wish I didn’t.
Maybe I can find a work around by putting a large white banner or something under the menu. This just isn’t right.
Michael learning something new is very good for your brain especially at my age. (70) EVERYONE struggles at first, I have been using ELEMENTS since early beta and I’m starting to do amazing things with the product. Early days I thought I had problems which were annoying but you can always surmount them with positivity.

Youre neer alone here so be a winner and you will be amazed at what you can do. I am just finishing off a database project with over 1500 catalogue numbers, and unto 7 images per item. I am amazed at what I have achieved so far and once I have this working there is another 15K catalogue numbers to add.
