Menu not scrolling on iPhone… the menu drops to show pages, but does not scroll down to show pages lower in the list.
I’ve been troubleshooting this (profanity) menu issue all (profanity) day and still have not solved the problem… It is a non scrolling menu on iPhone. If you’d like to try it… www.broose.com>Artwerks
@BGD try reading this, bottom is set to auto automatically just change to any other value, I was trying to scroll when bottom set to auto
Websites shown on this forum if they have a long menu have the same issue

what to change video
I was having this exact same problem trying to figure out why my really long menu would not scroll on mobile. Solved! thanks Steve
I can’t believe that this problem still exists; that was a long time ago when we dealt with it originally.
When someone posts their website they built on this forum, if I see it I first check their mobile menu, a number of have this issue, there are a few checks everyone can complete before and after they publish to ensure no formatting or scrolling issues etc
That’s a revelation !!
Does seem to suggest that the default could be otherwise set
Thanks guys
But it doesn’t seem to fix my issues - www.peteryates.co.uk

Hard to say what the problem is without seeing the settings. Just curious, in the layout settings, what do you have isolation set to?
Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I know on my setup I have it set to ISOLATE, and it works as expected. My mobile menu is almost identical to yours, although I do notice yours has margins on all edges. Whereas mine is flush left.
Interesting - thank you so much Handshaper !!
It appears to be fixed when I preview to browser …
… However when I publish … (mark all as changed and republish all) … nothing changes
Sort of suggests the file isn’t getting updated ?
When I run into situations like this, I delete all of the files from the server and then do a republish all so that you basically end up with a fresh copy of your site on the server. Painful but worht it for the peace of mind knowing that you have the latest version of everything on the server.
Thank you Robin - I’m going to try that right now
This solution wouldn’t allow a very long sub-menu to scroll on desktop, would it ?
In a couple of the cases where I used this solution, if I expanded all of the sub-menus in my mobile menu it would get fairly long and had no problem scrolling the full length of the menu.
Hi all, quick update here to say we’ve now fixed this issue.
The culprit was the mobile menu’s Bottom position defaulting to Auto. The menu would size itself to its content and run off the bottom of the screen, and with page scrolling locked behind the open menu, anything below the fold was unreachable.
This fix will be in the next update to Elements 3 ![]()
