Menus not working in Elements

Dan,
I have discovered another issue.

  1. I Open Elements and select the New Project button.
  2. Elements opens.
  3. If I now click on any of the drop-down menus of Elements, there are none to be seen.
    However, if I click on the desktop and then back in Elements my menus now appear.

Can you provide some screenshots or, even better, a video of the issue in action?

Dan, how can I place video on the Forum. I use none of the services you mention in the Trouble Shooting comments. I do have iCloud but have no idea how or if this is any use for this purpose.

this sounds like another display Mac problem to me as opposed to an Elements problem

Once you’ve made the recording, upload it to a cloud service like Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, or share it via YouTube.

Well, that is very strange…

I did a quick Google and it seems other users have this issue with other apps. I really think this is a system issue and not something we can fix.

Does restarting your Mac fix the issue?

No. Restarting the Mac does not fix the issue. It is very repeatable.

Mac Studio Ultra M1 64Gb

Rus, mine is an 2019 16" Intel MacBook Pro. I suspect there are some differences between the silicon and Intel macs. I’m about to find out.
