Missing Components?

I know I may be in “way over my head”, but I’ve been trying to catch up with web design by watching as many of the tutorials as I can. I am confused as to the released content of Elements.

I was trying to follow along the various Markdown tutorials/demos and was unable to due to missing/different components in my version of Elements (1.6.3).

The Dev Diary 79 (posted May 2025) uses the Collection component but it appears and acts differently in my version with what I assume are updates. (After, Before, Items) (BTW OCD Before, Items, After)

Also the New Markdown Component video (Jan 28) I understand will be in the new 2.0 release.

I can’t wait for the update!

I am thinking I could use a markdown file/s within accordions to auto fill them with their content. maybe?

Anyway, I am totally impressed with what is happening with Elements!

Thanks for all everyone’s hard work on making Elements better every week!

The most recent video on the CMS is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywtITCFFh2k

We changed a few things and now allow you to use the Twig templating syntax inside the CMS. It’s very powerful and gives you access to all of the data from your markdown files. Have a watch of the video as it’ll explain everything

Yes, that’s correct!

:100: You could use a Collection component to load in a folder of markdown files, inside the Collection you could drop in an Accordion. The collection will loop over the markdown files and give you an accordion for each item

@ben Will this also be true for the Tabs component when we get it?

No, as the Tabs is a single component.
