No sure why I’m seeing this on my homepage - I’d rather not have the logo, but if I must …

The Base plan includes a logo on published sites (it’s how we keep the price down). The missing image is another issue (and one we’d need to look into). Try a Re-Publish all files to see if that solves the issue.
Anyway… to remove the logo, you can upgrade to the Plus plan, this is the one we recommend for most Elements users and helps support the development of Elements even more 
You can upgrade (or Downgrade) at anytime with a just a click in the Preferences window under the Subscription tab.
