'Missing' phantom files

I have had an issue 2x now in the period of a month, that if I work on a project and come back later (after quitting Elements) that I have strange additional ‘missing’ files or recovery fields of different Elements in my project.

Not sure if any one has had the same problem? Also when this happens, then some of these recovered elements can be deleted while other cannot. These elements are actual elements like containers, svg, text, etc components. I can unfortunately not duplicate this or send an example because in order to continue to work on the project I need to actually replace the project file from a previous save off my Time Capsule.

Will try to remenber to send one if it happens again?!

This is nothing to worry about, and it’s just Elements being extra cautious if it finds any orphaned nodes/components in the project.

To remove the orphaned components, I think you’ll need to unlink the global, delete the unwanted components, then re-create it. Hope that makes sense.
