Modal Close not working, even in new project

I couldn’t get Modal Close to work in my project. Elementbot led me to create a fresh project where I placed nothing but a Modal, a Modal Close in “Content” and a Button in “Trigger”. When I trigger the modal I can’t exit it, effectively locking the page, because the Modal Close doesn’t appear.

You need to add a “Modal Close” Component in the pop-up modal area.

Here is the most basic example. I can share my much larger project, but I figured one step at a time.

You need to add some content, and also add a component into the “Modal Close” in this case I added an SVG, here’s the working project.
