More Email Addresses for iCloud+ Subscribers

Hi Elements Hosters,

Just a heads up, Apple has just increased the amount of custom email addresses you can add to your iCloud+ Mail.

Previously, with an iCloud+ subscription, you could add up to 5 custom domains with 3 email addresses per domain, for a total of 15 email addresses.

With the newest update, you can still add up to 5 custom domains to your iCloud+ Mail account, but you can now add up to 10 email addresses per domain, for a total of 50 email addresses!

Full details at 9to5mac.

As we aren’t offering email hosting (yet…:speak_no_evil_monkey:), iCloud+ Mail is a great alternative if you are already subscribing to iCloud+ and need email hosting to go along with your Elements web hosting.

If you need any help getting your custom domain(s) added onto iCloud+ Mail so you can create some custom email addresses, feel free to let us know. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you @differentdan , as this is wonderful news. Would be great to set up a split delivery/hybrid e-mail system with Apple iCloud which Zoho Mail/CRM allows with Microsoft Exchange accounts at the DNS level. Unfortunately, Apple expects domain MX records to be changed to an Apple Custom Email Domain setup. (mx01.mail.icloud.com — priority 10 and mx02.mail.icloud.com — priority 10). Apple does not document using iCloud Mail as a secondary destination behind another provider’s MX similar to what Zoho allows, as Apple also requires its own SPF authorization (include:icloud.com) and DKIM CNAME.
