I’d love to be able to move a component between pages. I would guess the component would go at the bottom of the destination page. Thoughts?

You can do this with copy and paste. I use this all the time to move things from one page to another.
Are you thinking about something like a MOVE command that would give you an option to select a destination page?
That would be handy.
JF, I am not able to copy and paste between pages either, (I am presuming you have already tried that), but I have an Intel Macbook Pro 2019.
I have already noticed differences in capabilities between my Intel Mac and my Mac Mini M4.
Do you have an Intel machine or a Silicon machine?
Cheers
copy and paste works fine and when pasting it will go under whatever component is highlighted on the destination page. command c to copy and command v to paste
easy peasy
Ah, thanks David, so you must have something already on the page you are pasting to and it must be selected. Got it.
no…it can be a blank page your pasting to…jf said he thinks it goes to the bottom…not nessesarily is what im saying…if you got 2 items on a page you can paste in the middle if you want
I’m really referring to a Move to command (I know that Copy & Paste works - most of the time).
I know, I would rather, in some cases, use a Move to command. I’m currently working on a project where I have a page that act like a canvas for experimenting things… I could move a specific component to another page when I’m satisfied with that component configuration.
David, I have tried pasting to a blank page, but it does NOT work on my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro or on my Mac Mini M4.
Perhaps you need to be very precise as to how you do it???
ok when I say blank I mean with at least something on it like a empty container
then copy and paste what you want then remove the empty container also if you know somethings dont work using 2019 Intel Mac due to Mac OS…why keep using it!!!
You did say BLANK page so I took you at your word! Blank means nothing on the page, not even an empty Container.
ok bye
Understood, I guess for now you can use Command-X to cut it… hmm, or you could convert it into a global…
Consider that a “Feature request”, then!
haha, will do
