Moved All to Elements! - Happy

So I’m stuck on RWC…

Don’t have the commercial license for Elements

Can’t figure out forms for Elements - the lady wants to use her yahoo email address - not the website email address - it has been established for many years with her clients and she doesn’t want to change…

Hopefully there will be an upgrade path from Elements plus to Elements Pro soon…

But what do I do with her email in elements form? Any ideas?

I sketched out the new redesign in elements already - this is my last site from RWC - excited to change it over when I get the right license

And then realized the problem when I got to the forms contact us page

I couldn’t copy and paste my dream host settings for all the other sites….

The new site looks so much better in elements with the sticky menu, etc. etc. etc.

You can upgrade or downgrade at any time in the Subscriptions window in the preferences.

You should look at using the webhook feature in our forms. You can then send it to Zapier (you get 100 tasks a month for free).

Going this route you send the form via a webhooks to Zapier, then Zapier can forward on the details into any system, include an email address.

Watch this video to learn how to set that up

Let me know if you need anything else

Just so everyone knows. If you click the plan you want to upgrade to, it processes the transaction right away. There is not an intermediate step where you verify the transaction.

I just did the upgrade to the Pro, I don’t know if I’ll use it, but figured a little extra money to RW to help with development cost wouldn’t hurt. I can always downgrade later.

Here’s what Chat GPT says:

(tried to upgrade to Pro - Here’s the error message:

The upgrade worked! Now on the pro license - got the emails saying my card was charged.. havent gotten the upgrade upon launching the app, but I’m legal  Very Happy!

Glad to hear you go the upgrade sorted. Thanks for your support :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

If you’re still having issues with the email form, you should try using the webhook option via Zapier!

Why not create and use a separate domain email to use with the form and then auto forward incoming email from there to Sarah’s yahoo address?

Thanx for the idea it was what I was looking for…

But chat gpt got me up and running - it works:

For alot of my clients I use Machforms and just past the code in the site. Most of the time its alot easier than fighting with the website form and settings.

That’s nice - looked into it… for me it’s a little expensive for me… $15 a month is pricey.

I do this one commercial site for the local tax company - ElmTaxService.com and they do my taxes and my daughters taxes for free…

It works for me….

For the Mail: just set an automated forward in the dreamhost mail account to yahoo for each Mail coming in.
