Multiple issues with project copied from North Eleven

Hi folks,

to start a new website, I opened your sample site North Eleven and started changing things. I use Elements Plus.

Several issues came up:

  1. I was unable to create a copy of the project template:

I can select Duplicate from the menu:

but it doesn’t do anything. Same effect if using Duplicate from the Edit menu. Only when I added a new, blank page object to the Portfolio page did Duplicate actually work on the existing Project Template page. Very odd.

  1. I had real issues getting the Image property of images to open up. I.e., I would click on Image and the little arrow at the end would change from right to down, but the panel wouldn’t open up. Only if I selected for example a text element below the image and then re-select the image would the Image panel open.

  2. I’ve changed images and text entries, but not done bis structural changes from the original North Elevel layout. For some reason, I’m getting odd “unknown” elements in the Header section:

compare that to the original North Eleven layout:

So it seems the Mobile Content and Mobile Trigger elements have “broken”…? I have not touched them.

  1. more of an annoyance: unlike any other application on my Mac, Elements does not react to the Cmd-Greater_than_smaller_than key, which I have set to switch through windows. In fact, opening a second project seems to not put it in a separate window, but in the same application frame as the first project. I’d love to use said key combo to switch through projects in Elements as well.

Duplicating a page appears to be working fine in the latest build. Is this issue reproducible for you?

Thanks for the report. I’ve recreated this issue here, it happens when you duplicate the projects page. I’ve added this to our bug tracker and will schedule in a fix. In the meantime you could use the templates feature to work around this, here’s how…

We’re aware of this little issue, for now if you just re-open the project it should of cleared up and be back to normal.
