My hobby, a free fantasy RPG: The Seal of the Seven (no, you don't need to save the world alone)

Hello everyone,

I have been quietly building a role-playing game, and it is now far enough along that I’m willing to be seen with it in public. It has been built with the use of AI (as I am not a developer per se, but I have directed it  )

The Seal of the Seven is a free, turn-based fantasy party RPG which runs in your browser You lead a group of heroes with their own stories, take on dungeons and wolves, haggle in markets, and make decisions that come back to bite you later.

Chapter 1 begins with ashes over the town of Brennfurt. And nobody there has had a good week.

What you get:

  • Turn-based combat for people who like to think before they hit things
  • A party of characters with real stories (and opinions)
  • Choices with consequences, so “I’m sure this will be fine” is a risky strategy
  • Villages, markets, dungeons and a lot of hand-placed barrels
  • No ads, no shop, no account, and nothing to pay. Voluntary support is possible and welcome, but the game never nags

Play it here: The Seal of the Seven – A Fantasy Role-Playing Game

Tip: put your headphones on. The music is worth it, and the wolves are less alarming that way.

I would love to hear what you think, especially if you find a bug, a translation that sounds odd, or a barrel in the wrong place. The English was translated by machine and spot-checked, so please be gentle and tell me where it falls short.

Happy adventuring,
Jan

This looks awesome, nice work @Fuellemann! I haven’t played a browser-based game since Evony back in my Uni days…

Def gonna give this game a play through. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :video_game:

Wow, that looks awsome @Fuellemann
I have reserved some time in the evening to give it a try :+1::+1::+1:
