The Navigation Standard contains a Logo area. A link to a resource can be set here. However, this is not used and the logo that was entered under Project Settings Logo is displayed. If you click on the logo, the file that is linked under Navigation Standard Logo is displayed.
I think that no logo should be defined under Project Settings if it can also be set to Navigation Standard. Not only a height should be defined for the logo. For logos that are rectangular, a width must also be specified.
Do you have a project you can share so we can take a look?
Hi Dan,
here is the Link: elementsapp://downloadDocument/yIfQHZgTWBoK
I first tried to delete the V1 menu and replace it with Navigation Standard. After that didn’t work, I created a new page with the name Test. Here you can see the same result. Clicking on the logo shows the resource file that was set for Navigation Standard.
Hi @Berthold,
Sorry this is a bit of a long video, but it shows how to fix your issue and get things setup correctly!
Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi Dan,
Thanks for the very quick help. I now realise what the problem was. Some things are simply misunderstandable. So a few suggestions for improvement.
- Use an internal copy of SVG’s. In the copy, for example, width=‘156.5mm’ height=‘13.1mm’ is automatically replaced by width=‘100%’ height=‘100%’. This makes all SVGs scalable without any changes. This is described in the documentation, but not everyone wants to have to change SVGs with the text editor. It is also confusing that this is necessary for some SVGs and not for others.
- Make the logo visible again in Navigation Standard, not just as a drop zone
- It would be very nice if when dragging an SVG into an element, the SVG element is added at the same time. That would make things a lot easier. Works with jpg too.
