Looking to apply some negative margin so I can make my logo sit half-way between the 2 containers. Anyone figure out how to do this yet?
@ajenks I’ll try to take a stab at explaining how to do this as I have done it a few times now.
The trick is in the Spacing settings you need to turn off the THEME settings by clicking on the little icon that looks like the Theme Editor icon. Once this is off if you click in the margin you want to set, then while clicking drag up or down and this will change the setting. Down will decrement and up will increment.
Handy little feature, if somewhat hidden from sight.
Thank you @handshaper, that is a hiddem gem of a feature for sure.

@dan, when I go off theme to apply the negative margin I lose the ability to auto center. How would I get around that?
I’d need to see your project… it’s a bit hard to advise without seeing the settings you’re using
Not sure if this helps but here are my current settings, they change at each breakpoint becuase the width changes. If I had the ability to type “auto” in the horizontal boxes it would fix the issue.
Okay, you got at least two options to fix this…
-
Set up some custom spacing values in the theme studio (you’ll need to type in the number as the slider won’t go into the negative):
-
Use Translate, under the Transforms section:
I’m sure there’s otherways to do what you want but these were the first two that popped into my head… And that’s the Power of Elements™
