New Online CMS Editor for Elements (Preview)

Hi team, is this blog based only or will it work like Quick Editor from 1LD in classic stacks?

If you’re asking whether it only works for blog posts or can be used more generally for articles, et.al., the answer is that the CMS isn’t specifically blog-based. I and others have used the CMS for articles on pages.

However, if you’re asking “can I edit anything” the answer would be no. The on-line editor edits .MD files in the CMS folder, not all text occurances.

@dan I had this available with version 2.1.25 but that was pulled out and the newest builds do not include the online editor. Can you please provide an ETA as to when this will be added back as I am anxiously awaiting this functionality and 2.1.25 is not available as a version to go back to.

Online Editor with question mark

Hi @Blumik This component should not have been included as it’s still in development. Please don’t use the component, it’s not going to work correctly for you. We will be removing this component in the next build. Apologies for the confusion, we hope to have the online editor out in the very near future. We’ll make an official announcement when we release it

Elements CMS v2 — coming soon!

Not released yet, we’re working as fast as we possibly can to get it in your hands. I don’t want to give a date, but we’re hoping it’ll be in the very near future. We haven’t announced pricing just yet, we’ll be doing that as we get closer to launch.
