Is there any chance of a tutorial or example of how to setup the new site search?

Are you talking about the CMS Search component?

If so, that component works only with CMS content, it’s not a full site search.

Sorry that shouldn’t have been in the release notes, that feature was something we were prototyping. Can’t say if or when that will ship.
