[NEW TEMPLATE] GridX: The right website for local businesses

Dear Elements Weavers,

I’m excited to introduce GridX – a new template library that turns a handful of essentials into a one-page website that looks modern and complete, right from the start.

The idea is simple: most local businesses don’t need a big website. They want to show their opening hours, share a few good photos, and make it easy to get in touch or find their way there. GridX takes exactly that – hours, services, photos, reviews and contact details – and arranges it into a clean, modern grid. Seven bento grid layouts are included, and they’re not just the same boxes in a different color – full-width heroes, photo-forward splits, sidebar magazine layouts and more, each with its own rhythm.

GridX uses the colors and fonts from your own Elements theme, so every layout automatically matches the rest of your website. Layouts also support light and dark mode. Want a different look? Just change the colors or pick a new Elements template – it only takes a minute. And every layout comes with its own matching navbar and footer.

There’s a nice side effect, too: a page built from a handful of essentials loads fast and reads clearly on a phone – often the first, and only, place a local customer will see it. Three complete examples are included – Barber Shop, Bakery and Yoga Studio – so you’re never starting from a blank grid.

These look great!!!, I can really see these being used as an “About Us” or “Contact” page on a local business site.

As someone who does SEO for small businesses, you will most likely need more than just this single page to rank and show up in search results unless there’s no competition in your area, just a friendly fyi :+1:

That is unfortunately true :slightly_smiling_face:. When you have enough content I would also go for another template. But the target groups for GridX are small companies which act mainly locally. They do not have “big” content for filling a large website but want to have a website as a kind of extended business card. And then they can rank in their local area as they are in their area (probably) without competition :slightly_smiling_face:.
