I admit, this was a dumb move on my part, but while reviewing a markdown file inside of Elements (I was playing with the CMS), I wondered if I could drag and drop an image resource into the markdown file and if Elements would automatically insert the correct markdown for it. Big mistake! An error window appeared that was so long, I couldn’t see the bottom of the box or move it in a way to view the whole thing. The error message stayed in the forefront of my screen, and any mouse-click inside of Elements just returned a beep. The Elements app menubar still worked, but most options were grayed out, and of course, I couldn’t clear the error or shut down Elements normally. After asking the AI Bot for a solution, the only way I could clear the error was to do a forced shutdown of Elements.
I don’t recommend that you try to duplicate the error unless you open a new instance of MicroBlog (what I was playing with)… so you don’t risk losing something important you might be working on. Inherently, I knew this probably would NOT work, but that didn’t stop me from trying it anyway. So, just a heads up. Here’s a pic of the error message.
