that slideshow stack fills the screen with what you give it.
Ok the galleries will be an aspect that I’ll have to think through and plan out. Then I’ll need to decide if I do them through RW or continue using jAlbum and link them to my RW pages the way I did in DW.
That seems to be a lot of work…you just drop the images into a folder…watermark or not…it is ready to go…
And if you need to add to or take away from the slideshow…just add or delete with a ftp program.
Hmmm…ok. Going to be a tough decision. I’ve been very happy with jAlbum over the last decade+
But if i would decide to stay with jAlbum, I’d still be able to combine RW features with external links, no?
Meaning, using those drop-downs or similar?
depends on how jAlbum sizes the page…right now it takes the whole page…the one I showed you shows thumbs on the page and slideshow is a lightbox.
Yes, but all my galleries are linked to open into a new page, always did it that way so that once you’re done, you can close the gallery and be right where you left off on the main site. So maybe the jAlbum page size may have no bearing on what’s designed in RW?
And another page and another page…and on and on…

Meanwhile I’m working on the static pages so I’ll have a bit of time to finalize a decision.

I’m liking RW so far and I’m glad I made the jump with it and stacks.
Im using this new site as my first transition to the modern web platform relative to my current site, and am certainly hoping to be able to use RW and some other features and tools to further improve with another iteration in the coming years.
Just for the immediate future, I want to make something fresh that won’t take me months to do.

Once I figure out how I’ll handle the galleries I’ll have a better sense of direction and how to get there.
Here is the file structure for the images…
Basic folder and put the images there…and link to that folder in the RW file…that is it!!!
