Unfortunately, I’ve got Covid (and my voice is a little croaky), so they’ll be no Dev Diary video this week. However, I’m doing okay and we’re all still hard at work on Elements
There’s been lots of improvements in the past week, including a revamped projects screen that contains useful links to all the Elements resources!
We’ve also been busy getting feedback on pricing tiers and working towards getting the first private beta out (we’re really close now!) to a few forum regulars to test before we post it publicly here.
If you’re a regular here on the forum, and would like to be added to this first-early private beta(s) drop me a DM. We’re aiming to keep this to a handful of people to start with and slowly add new users over the coming weeks.
As always, feel free to ask any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them
Thanks,
Dan & Team Realmac
P.S. Here’s a sneak peek at the Elements document icon, and the work-in-progress beta page where you’ll be able to buy Elements
love to be on the private Beta … excited for Elements and would like to develop expertise in it!
do you think there’s a market for Elements consultants and tutorial-teachers, etc?
can you give a general idea of Classic installed base and/or projected Elements market?
I think there will be once Elements officially launches!
We’re a small indie team, so don’t do any kind of “projected market” analysis or planning. We build the apps we want to use and that we think others will too.
We do know it will take a little time to build a sizable userbase for Elements, but there is always an advantage (and a risk) for those that get started early in building complimentary products.
