No navigation visible in my sticky menu

Hi there. I’m rebuilding an Classic Aspen site with Elements. I want to use a sticky menu and used the template provided with Elements. But I’ve got a problem there. Previewing the site in my browser (Safari) I see this:

This is (almost) what I want. But there’s a problem in Elements: I don’t see the navigation menu nor the button anymore. In Elements it looks like this:

What has happened with the navigation menu and the button? Why do I see a sandwich icon on the right?

I tried to repair this by deleting my sticky menu and inserting the component anew. But that doesn’t solve my problem. Help!

Thanks,

Pouwel

The bottom image shows you are in mobile view, can’t see your settings could be a couple of things, if you share your project it probably be quicker to see what’s going on

If you increase the width of the editing area in Elements, you’ll see the “desktop” version of the Menu component appear.

Right now, the Menu is hardcoded to automatically switch between “mobile” and “desktop” formats based on screen size — there’s no control over when that switch happens.

We do plan to add the option for users to manually choose when the Menu switches between these two layouts. This means you’ll eventually be able to force either the desktop or mobile version to always be used, regardless of screen size.

Let us know if you need any more help
