Not able to work on my website using Rapid Weaver since buying a new Imac

Again I must make excuses for my ignorance. I don’t know.

We can’t really help you if you don’t know the name of the file or where you saved it. Sorry.

I guess you could try one more thing… look for a “.rw” file, no name. Is your RW version 7? That will work. If 6… “.rw6”.

RW5. I didn’t work on it for a long time.

I don’t remember what the extension was for RW5, or where the files were stored. Maybe someone else can help.

I think 5 was .rwsw (not positive)

Sounds right, Scott

so do this:

  1. click on finder or a blank space on your desktop
  2. hold down the command key and hit F
you will get a search window

change the drop down to file extension and type .rwsw in the “is” box

The extension for RW5 is .rwsw

If your not seeing extensions on your file names, turn on “show all file name extensions” in Finder preferences. It can be very helpful to have the file extensions visible when searching for a file.
