We’ve just launched the all-new Realmac Software website, built entirely with RapidWeaver Elements
It’s still very much a work in progress, with some loose ends to tidy up (and a few old classic-built pages still lingering around), but this marks the start of a new era.
Right out of the box, Elements has delivered excellent performance scores and lightning-fast page speeds, and we’re just getting started
Grammatically, the paragraph is mostly correct — it’s clear and well-structured — but there’s a minor stylistic inconsistency rather than a strict grammatical error.
Here’s the original again:
“RapidWeaver Elements is the fast, modern website builder for macOS. It gives you full design control and a visual workflow that makes publishing sites easy.”
Issues / Improvements:
Article choice (“the fast, modern website builder”)
Using “the” implies that RapidWeaver Elements is the only fast, modern website builder for macOS — a strong, exclusive claim.
If that exclusivity isn’t intended, you should use “a” instead: “RapidWeaver Elements is a fast, modern website builder for macOS.”
Parallelism (minor style point)
“Full design control and a visual workflow that makes publishing sites easy” mixes a noun phrase (“full design control”) and a noun phrase with a relative clause (“a visual workflow that makes publishing sites easy”).
It’s not wrong, but you could make it smoother by keeping the structure more parallel: “It gives you full design control and a visual workflow for easy site publishing.”
or “It gives you full design control and makes publishing sites easy with a visual workflow.”
Corrected version:
“RapidWeaver Elements is a fast, modern website builder for macOS. It gives you full design control and a visual workflow for easy site publishing.”
So grammatically, it’s fine — the only real “issue” is with article usage and stylistic parallelism.
I have been using RW for years and am not an expert. My hosting company, Network Solutions has been unable to publish my uploaded site because they are not able to deal with an FTP upload. Is there something I can do in my RW program to deal with an non FTP upload? Thanking you in advance.
