Page copy oddness

Hello,

I use a page header global which has a container and text. When I copy the page to make a new blog entry the custom name of the container is gone. The new container has a weirdness in that you can’t close is in the right frame.

This only affect the global on the page and when I copy the global back in the page and remove the oddly acting container it is fixed.

Sorry if this is already an issue since I think I saw it mentioned before. I think the Bot did also since it said page copy was not working anymore as of July 2025, but I can’t get that to come up from the Bot.

Thank for all that you do. I’ll now go see if I can put this project in the cloud storage for you to look at.

Hi @troyweb,

Ah thanks! Can you upload the project to Elements Cloud, and give us the steps to reproduce it, we can then look into fixing it for you

I think that is how I share something on my cloud.

I made a main page with two containers
I made the top container Global
I made a second page and put the Global in it at the top
I duplicated the second page to have a third

The third page lost the name of the container on the global. It also has the weird issue where the inspector will open an item but not let you close it. It will open a new one and close the last, but not all of them.

I can recopy the Global to the new duplicated page and remove the one that was copied and it is fine.

Thanks Dan
