Paid components: Can "try before buy"? Must repurchase for updates?

A major irritation with Classic was that few stack devs provided a way to try out their stacks before committing to purchase. Is that also true of paid components in Elements?

Also, if you buy a component, is it a one-time purchase with free updates forever, or do you have to re-purchase it for updates or subscribe?

Not right now, but we plan to add support for this in the future!

No, everything is a lifetime purchase, so updates are included
