Hi Dan and Ben! I recently purchased “Password Protected” for Elements and it’s a great way to protect an entire site. What I am missing is the possibility to set different passwords for different users. Something similar to “Page Safe”, a stack created by Joe Workman which I do use a lot in RW classic. Could you imagine having this function in a future update? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot, Jürgen
That was covered in the video. It does not support different passwords for different users. You can use on different pages and setup a unique password for each instance.
Hi Edward, yes, that would be one option. If there will be no other solution, that’s what I will try.
Sitelok by Vibralogix works in Elements and is a membership “platform” if any help?
@ben did you ever sort out the problem with it not logging users out after the elapsed time?
Hi Paul. Thanks for the tip. I have experience with Sitelok running in RW Classic project. Are you using Sitelok? Is there a site you know about where it’s combined, Elements and Sitelock? Curious how it runs and together, is there a different Sitelok version with instructions for Elements? Thank YOU
I use Sitelok with Elements and it works extremely well.
I believe Vibralogix are still waiting on RealMac to authorise the Sitelok Elements Components to be put up on the Elements Store - hopefully sooner rather than later - @dan ?
In the meanwhile the Sitelok Elements Components can be downloaded from here: Buy Membership Software and Systems Online UK | Vibralogix
Scroll halfway down the page and the link is on the righthand side.
I won’t extoll Sitelok’s virtues as you already use it! ![]()
Juergen I have it and not used in Elements yet as only just in process of changing my sites one by one but Jon has helped above - let us know how you get on!
That’s great news! Hope the components will be on the store soon.
