i want the ability to jump to a url based on a dropdown selection… as i understand it its currently a complicated process. can it not be made simple just a url value somewhere?

I think this is what you are looking for….

Add a new “Link” in the pages inspector, and position it appropriately in the pages tree so it appears in the menu where you want it to.

I think you might be able to use the Modal and Top Pages components to achieve your list of links.
