I have been struggling with this for days and have consulted with Support on this. After a couple of attempted fixes I even upgraded the Mac OS to Sequoia 15.1, to no avail.
I then went through RW Settings (again) and in the Advanced settings section I switched the PHP version from the default v 7.4.21 to v 8.2.9, clicked on Auto in the Web Server Port (it set itself to 0), and voila, Preview now works!
I thought I’d share the fix in case others have also faced the same problem.
