I’ve come back to my Rapidweaver Classic (ver 9.6.8) and I can’t get my projects to preview on Safari because it’s set to not show http// URLs. How do I create my project so that it displays https:// while I’m designing my site but haven’t posted it yet?
Hi,
Try this : Preview isn't working with Safari - #3 by CyberFredje
Use chrome
Thanks so much @annebourdon. That was the solution. I had searched this site but hadn’t found the answer under the Rapidweaver topics. I guess I’ve learned now that I need to look for the solution under Elements topics as well.
But Rapidweaver is an app exclusively for Mac and it should work in the Mac OS environment.
Thanks @PLM. I did try it with Chrome, with https only on, and it worked. I am surprised that Rapidweaver, a Mac-only app, doesn’t work within the Mac-specific environment.
It still would be helpful to be able to preview projects using https in any browser.
You need to turn off in settings on safari as mentioned above. That’s why I recommend chrome instead.
It does, but you’ve instructed Safari to not display content served over http://.
