Problem with export

Help, I can no longer export. Not even to a local folder.
Everything still worked this morning. Then I uploaded a few changes to the web server. Since some things didn’t work, I deleted the content of the folder on the web server with an FTP client and then tried to upload everything again with Elements. Unfortunately, this did not work. My attempt to export everything to a local folder didn’t work either. This window always appears

The usual blue progress bars are not visible. There are no error messages and no file is exported.
What I have tried:

  • Mark all Pages & Resources as changed
  • Republish all files
  • Publish Site…
  • Export Site
  • Delete all Elements Files in the Library folder
  • Delete the Cache folder
  • Restart the Mac

Now I have no more ideas. It can’t be the connection information to the server, as exporting to a local folder doesn’t work either.

Sorry I missed this post, but having just seen it now I wanted to check-in and see if you managed to get your site published?

If this is still an issue can you share your project with us (via Elements Cloud) so we can find out what’s going on and issue a fix!

I worked around the problem by restoring an old copy with Timemaschine and then implementing my changes.
The file that I can edit with Elements but cannot publish cannot be uploaded to the cloud either. See screenshot.

How can I send you the file without the cloud?

Hi Dan,

after the error just occurred and the upload to the cloud did not work, the error has now unexplainably disappeared. The upload to the cloud also works now. This is somewhat unsatisfactory, because the error was really there.

Sounds like your older project may have gotten corrupted somehow. If you’re still having issues you can email the project over to me - dan at realmac software dot com.
