Hey Scott! Sorry for not getting back to you earlier had some things coming up unexpectedly here
I did find the problem tho, for some reason my columns were set as partials, after taking that off everything works
So I figure before I get too far I should publish the site to make sure it works online as well
I did but now I am having problem with the links.
I tried put the page I link to in different folders but nothing
If I link to a page that does not use stacks it seems to work fine
Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanx in advance /Pete
Can you show me your folder/page structure
How are you linking? Show a screen shot.
It is the page 220volt that Im having problem with in the vault section. The webadress is rockersunited.net
It looks like what you are doing is now correct
So the path should be: /vault/220
but that returns a 404 (not found)
You need to look on the server and see if the /vault/220 folder contains an index file. you can do that with a ftp app or with the file manager in your control panel.
You can also right click on the 220page and publish that page by itself then see if it works
My guess is that something is amiss with your publishing or publishing settings and you arn’t publishing to the path you think you are
one other thought. in settings/advanced (click the spanner wrench then advanced) you have file links set as “relative to page” correct?
Yes I have it set “relative to page” when checking with a FTP program there is no 220 folder in the vault folder for some reason, it seems that the sub-files for some reason not getting uploaded when I hit publish
All pages that are tagged in “show in navigation” seem to be included in the sitemap.html but these that are not don’t even seem to get saved as html files
I would mark all files as changed from the file menu, save the project then republish all from the file menu.
Ie sitemap. I believe the site map is built from the nav tree so no surprise that those pages marked don’t include in nav don’t show in the sitemap.
There are plenty of online sitemap builders out there if you want a sitemap Page. Google will follow the links in the vault page and index the subpages anyway, no worries there.
Seem to be working as it should now.
Thank you again for your time and help!
Happy to help.
Glad to hear it’s sorted, good luck with your project.
