@dan having a great day playing with CSS Grids, I have done a file uploaded to cloud and hope you can see it? I have done this in two hours and happy to share it with everyone so they can play and enhance it to meet their needs.
I have used RW since v2 and invested a lot of £ in stacks and various add ons since I started. I have successfully run a home business totally on line using mostly RW, Cartloom, Foundation and Stacks so the investment has been worth it.
I have decided to play this weekend with my most used stacks to see if ELEMENTS does away with the “need” for the stacks I am using so started with CSS Grids. This I can see getting rid of need for quite a few of the stacks I currently use.
I am so impressed (mostly with myself) as a non coder how EASY this process has been, however I have one niggle and I have tried everything and it’s annoying me.
The pain is I want lower right container to be the same gap (5) as rest of grid, but no matter what I do I can not get it to move up close to bottom of container above. Help Please! TIA
Had a quick look, but out all day now.
Nice Bento look.
Looks like you adjusted all the settings in the container grids for row and columns. One at least of which pushes right outside and down
The Elements settings are auto rows. When you add a grid they auto push to the next row, if no room, a while since I used that method in Elements
I imagine you had to play around a lot in the last grid set up
One thing to remember is to check the grid at different screen sizes and see how that pushes or does not push the grids around
Thanks I was just playing around and having fun but do appreciate what you have said THANKS. Yes all the others flowed and were easy but the last one when I did the top right one everything else seemed to go AWOL so played around with all settings trying to achieve the look I wanted. I was just trying to learn the skill of as you say “bento” look and today I’ll try and do another stack I use a lot to see if I can create that. It was so much fun but if I come across a problem I like to find out what and how to rectify so will be bugged by this until I know! Enjoy your day! TIA
