Problems purchasing on the store

I was trying to purchase Gallery Pro. Every time I click “Buy” a window flashes by with the text “Creating checkout session
connecting to payment service
this may take a few minutes”

The window quickly closes and a white window follows. I can’t go back or quit. I have to force quit. I tried to buy one other component and got the same behavior.

Tried restarting the computer?

Do you have any macOS utilities installed that might be monitoring or blocking your web traffic?

Oh, and can you confirm what version of macOS you’re running.

I’m running 15.7.4. I’m running Little Snitch. I have downloaded other things from the store, but not in the last few weeks. I’ll look to see if Little Snitch is blocking anything new. I don’t recall any notifications recently.

So far nothing else is acting differently.

I just changed that old Little Snitch block and it works now. Recently there were many Elements connections that it allowed. Problem solved.
I don’t understand why it behaved that way. Maybe the Stripe connection?
