Problems with Theme Studio and Typography

@dan I thought I had made a post about the problems I’m having with the theme studio and typography (and text).

With build 0.6.8 all of my projects where I have custom typography settings, they are not being applied. When I open a project all of the typography (I seriously dislike typing this word) components do not display with my settings. Even though it shows that my settings are the ones selected. This is happening in all of my projects.

I’m having similar problems with the Text component. I have a custom font size called “lead” setup that I use to style leading paragraphs. Selecting my custom size does nothing. The only way I can get the size to be applied is by selecting all of the text and then setting the size in the inline editor, which is not acceptable. All of this worked fine in the 0.6.6 release.

This leaves my waiting to see if this gets fixed soon or if there is something I’m missing that changed in this release.

BTW, I did try recreating all of my custom theme studio settings under different names, but none of them worked, so clearly something is not right. I’m surprised no one else has run into these problems and reported them.

Can you send me the project via Elements Cloud?

It sounds like a bug due to all the recent changes we’ve made. We’ll get it fixed and ship an update as soon as possible.

You can look on almost any of the pages to see the problem. Anywhere there is a typography component it is not displaying in the correct font - Raleway. Plus the paragraphs are all messed up as no padding is being added.

For the font size problem you’ll see there are a bunch of text blocks typically right after the heading that are shown in a blue color and a really small font. I cannot apply my “lead” custom font style to these blocks.
