@dan I was trying to publish one of my projects with the latest 0.7.8 build and it crashes the app every time. It starts by getting stuck trying to figure out what to publish. I then cancel the export and the app hangs and has to be force quit.
I then downgraded to the previous version and this project has the exact same problem.
The strange thing is that after first upgrading I had opened this project and published without any problems. I then made some minor changes to the project and after that it would not publish.
Next I downloaded a copy I had saved to Elements Cloud and tried to go through the same steps as previously and the same problem occurred with this version. Not sure how it would have become corrupted in the cloud as I had successfully done a publish before uploading it last night.
Sorry you’re having issues, but don’t panic. The version of your project in the cloud will be untouched.
Can you share both of your projects with us? We’ll get to the bottom of it and make sure you get back up and running as soon as possible.
Using an older version of Elements alongside the cloud version of the file should work just fine, so it sounds like something else is at play. Could you try restarting your Mac to see if that helps?
And please don’t be concerned, I’m confident we’ll get this sorted for you.
@dan I emailed you both links to the projects in the cloud and in the case of the one with the missing parents problem I also sent a ZIP archive as the version in the cloud did not exhibit the problem. The on on my machine did have the problem, so I sent it.
I have complete trust in you and your team that these glitches will get sorted out.
Yes, the problem project is now exporting no problems. Much appreciated.
However, a Republish All Files does still not catch the files associated with the contact page form. I have to manually mark that page as dirty in order for it to export those files.
