Thanks, @WeaverPixel and @dan

Elements customers can get started with project Baguettes easy to edit content and customize

I was busy doing other stuff, but, now, I finally found the time, to set up my little page with this wonderful template:
https://www.destinations2see.online
My only problem is the footer. How do I get the footer to be full width? It works with any section, but not with the footer…
Thanks for any suggestions.

It looks like it’s inside a container; I’d guess it needs to be moved outside of that. Check in the Node Browser to see where it is in the hierarchy.

Feel free to share your project via Elements Cloud, and we can fix it for you

The Footer is not in a Container…
I’ve uploaded it to Elements Cloud now.

Great, can you share the link here so I can open it and take a look?

I’ve sent an Email with the link, together with the upload logs, since I also have a problem with publishing.

@destinations2see

Hello :waving_hand:
You do a great job :clap:t2:

Footer, think container is out side of other container. Make sure container footer moved outside

Take screenshots for Node Browser

Hey Anas, thanks for having a look at it. But the Footer is not in a Container:

But never mind, I’ll just leave it like it is now.

Fun fact: the problem only exists on the first page. Here’s a screenshot of the Contact page:

Hmm, not sure the email came through. Can you post a link to the project on Elements Cloud in this thread so I can take a look?

Found the email, will take a look today and get back to you shortly!

Hey @destinations2see,

I’ve taken a look at your project and there were a couple of settings on the footer that just needed changing. Here’s how to do it:

Hey @dan, Thank you for your video reply. On the subpages the footer now goes over the entire width, but on the start page it does not work, although the footer in the template is a global. Apparently there is a different element on the start page that causes this conflict. I don’t know why. I’ll probably leave it like that.

Happy to fix the issue for you if you re-share your updated project

Hmm, there’s something funky going on with your document as those globals should be the same. We’re just looking into the issue now.

@destinations2see We’ve identified a serious issue when duplicating pages in Elements 0.9.6 (23610). This is now fixed and we’ll release a build later today. The good news is I’ve been able to fix your document and you can get it Here

The problem with the footer not working on the home page was to do with the HTML custom component. I’ve corrected the html in there and the footer now works
