My project isn’t listed in the recent projects list on start-up of Elements.
It uses the macOS system recent files features, so might just be the Finder playing up. Try restarting your Mac and see if that fixes things.
Tried that and still no projects showing up in recents list. Also checked Finder settings and is set to show recents, and recents show in apple menu → Recent Items.
Have you tried the oldest trick in the book? Restarting your Mac…

Solved. While settings were set correctly, I had set recents to 0 in Onyx some time ago. Reset it there and seeing project in the recents list now.
