Publishing a page does not give expected results in the Resources Folder

When I Publish a page to a Local Folder, I was expecting to see in the published Resources Folder what I see in Elements, Pic 1

But as soon as I put a folder inside say, the Videos folder in Elements, (Pic 2),

I get a completely different outcome when published. Pic 3.

Notice there is no Audios Folder, just the hierarchical name of the folder that was inside it, audios_the_torah_codes

Strangely, there is an Images folder, even though there is a folder inside it called images_posters_for_videos

Both Fonts and PDFs have no folders in them and show up in the Publishing Resources folder as they do in Elements itself.

Note again there is no Videos Folder, but all the folders inside of folders inside it are listed.

I am presuming this is not what you wanted to be shown in the Published Resources folder.
Cheers.

By the way, when I export a page I am expecting it to say Exporting…
When I am Publishing a page I am expecting it to say Publishing…
This is only minor but finishes the polishing.

Can you share your project with us again and we’ll take a look and get this fixed!

Dan, here is the file. I have trimmed it quite a bit, but the problem in the Resources Folder still shows up.

good luck Dan

Thanks for the project; we’ve managed to recreate the issue here. It seems your folders are getting moved up a level to the root of the “Resources” folder. We’ll get this fixed in an upcoming build!

@dan

Still having publishing issues here as well.

Pages in Elements:

Pages in test folder:

All second and above level pages should be in Pages folder, with first level pages being in root folder.

Resources in Elements:

Resources in Test Folder:

In theory, the uploaded site should match the organization as set in Elements, correct??

@sbchasin, @paulcruice Good news! This has now been fixed in the latest build, 0.8.0!

Resources fixed.

Organization of pages still seems off, however, I have not gone through the individual page settings in detail yet, so it may be operator error. I will get back to you on that.

Thanks to the team for all the hard work
