Publishing issues

I have trusted them for 25 years after publishing 12-15 sites over the years - everything from WP to RapidWeaver sites and never encountered any problems with publishing. Today I spent 4 hours chatting with their support without getting anywhere. Transmit showed that my files ended up correctly and in the right folders, while their “file manager” only showed the folders with audio files I uploaded via their previous “file manager”. All files including these were of course shown in Transmit, which surprises me. Maybe the upload function of Elements does not work due to some security reasons? Maybe you have to upload via their “file manager”? In any case, after spending irreversible hours with their hopeless support, I will move to another host. I thank you for the response, which I really appreciate! Have a good summer //Peter

You should consider switching to Elements Hosting: the support is incredible, and they are intimately familiar with Elements. I have been very happy with them.

I feel like this is a general trend in where custom support has been headed in recent years (spoiler: it’s been declining).

Where companies used to provide good or great customer service as the rule, it feels like that’s becoming more and more the exception as time goes on.

I’m not sure what it is, a collective mix of a lot of factors I guess.

Anyway, some of us still believe in delivering exceptional support. An increasing rarity in today’s world (unfortunately).

they have always sorted any problem ive had and they are few and far between. and they have been one of the best support teams ive ever come across to be honest.

no email no deal

I’m curious to know what your email needs are. Perhaps it’s an idea based off of “It’s what I’m used to” more than “It’s what makes best sense”. I couldn’t know that without knowing how you use your email accounts though, there are of course times where it does make sense to combine it all into one provider. :slightly_smiling_face:

simple my domain is morris56.uk and my email is dave@morris56.uk…and im not going through any third party apps etc. I also pay £7.99 a month for 50 gig storage and unlimited emails…as I am old customer ie years with them

It’s a good deal. You only have 1 email address though so you don’t really need unlimited email addresses/accounts.

You wouldn’t really have to go through any different apps, you can use the same Mail app you’ve always used (Apple Mail or whatever). There are already two email providers that you could move dave@morris56.uk to that are completely free, so you wouldn’t pay any extra cost.

But, you are happy with your current provider, so stick with them. I don’t promote moving away from a service you are happy with. :slightly_smiling_face:
