I built a site with RW8, then upgraded to classic, but classic made the site look dark, so I bought Elements.
But, I have watched Steve’s video and my Elements can not open earlier RW sites.
So I feel that I have to build new site, but t
the publishing window will not work with the info I entered (attached).
The company that hosts my domain gave me the following info:
server: ftp.startlogic.com
path: /public_html
domain name: perihelionproductions.org
subdirectory: /home/periheli/public_html
URL perihelionproductions.org
ISP st82.startlogic.com
Can anyone detect what I did wrong?

@dan can you help here please.
Hi @traut
The error message shows your FTP login details are not correct.
You might want to double-check with your web hosting provider to make sure you are using the correct login credentials.
If your web host is using cPanel, your main FTP username and password is usually the same as your cPanel username and password.
Also you can create a new FTP user in your cPanel if you want to test another FTP login.

The domain host gave me the info below, but would not help in filling out the
Elements form (attached). Can you detect what I am doing wrong?
server: ftp.startlogic.com
path: /public_html
domain name: perihelionproductions.org
subdirectory: /home/periheli/public_html = host directory
URL perihelionproductions.org
ISP st82.startlogic.com
FTP host/server:
Site: periheli.startlogic.com
FTP server name = ftp.startlogic.com
Username: periheli59542
That all seems like it’s correct. If it is, and as long as your FTP password is correct, you shouldn’t have any problems connecting via Elements.
Can you test out another FTP client like Cyberduck to see if you can make a connection with the credentials your web host gave you?
