I’ve been playing around with the gallery feature which is looking quite nice. Will there be a way to have the thumbnails show up in different aspect ratios depending on the individual image? I experimented with the meta data from files and can see it appear in the thumbnails but not in the enlarged images. Will there be a way to only see the metadata in enlarged images? Thanks for all the hard work that is being done.
Right now we are only support uniform thumbnails, but it could be added if demand is high 
Yep, we’ll be adding support for meta data in the Lightbox in the coming weeks.
Different aspects and a masonry gallery option would be greatly appreciated. I’ve always found RW galleries a bit unloved and functionally basic. Perhaps it’s because I tend to compare them to true photographic sites with highly customisable and attractive galleries.

The built-in Gallery you’ll get with Elements will produce a really nice, modern gallery for you.
I can’t promise that this Gallery will support all the options you might have seen elsewhere – I think this would be a great opportunity for a third-party developer to build an in-depth gallery with all the options
I hope there will be a bit more customization without purchasing an add-on. I would like to see Elements as the perfect solution for visual artists who might otherwise go with WordPress. Thanks for listening!
