Rapidweaver blog didn't update

My Rapidweaver-based blog failed to update this morning. It processed all entries without my asking it to, something over 1200, then, when I tried to access the latest, this morning’s, it returned a blank page, properly formatted and headed, just missing the content.

I’m running RW Classic v 9.5.0 on a M4 MacBook Air running Sequoia 15.5.

I’m limping by on my parallel SubStack posting, but have grown accustomed to fronting with my RW version.

Thanks, David Schmaltz

Hi @PureSchmaltz,

That page loads fine for me, so I think it’s a caching issue on your side.

Try emptying caches and look at the page again, and I’m sure it will look fine.

Cheers,
Erwin

Erwin: I can’t get it to display either on my iPhone or in Safari or Chrome on my MacBook Air .he RapidWeaver source shows the full content, but the published page, only blank. Clearing the cache didn’t change anything. … I am pleased to hear that you can see the content, though. Thanks for checking this. david schmaltz

Hi @PureSchmaltz,

It doesn’t load any of the contents for me either by the looks of it.

Like you said: backdrop, footer and images are there, but that’s it. The blog posts themselves do not load.

Have you tried re-uploading all files? You can do this by clicking File > Re-Publish All Files from within RapidWeaver. This will force all the files onto the server, overwriting any previous version.

Cheers,
Erwin

I think I;ve found the difficulty source. I was surprised to find a duplicate Home page this morning. I’ve discovered this before. It might occur when I inadvertently create a duplicate home page by entering some key sequence. No conformation message appears, but a duplicate home page results. Then the parody ensues. I got the content corrected in the “real” Home page, deleted the pretender, then reloaded. It seems to be fined now. Thanks for your help, Erwin.
