Apple could not confirm that RapidWeaver.app does not contain malware that could harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.
I have RapidWeaver 9.4.3 on Safari Version 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8).
I have used RW for many years and I have never experienced this problem.
hi @Aarne,
Assuming you bought RapidWeaver directly from RealMac and not an unknown reseller, the application is completely safe to use.
Perhaps the built-in safety systems of macOS couldn’t recognise that your RapidWeaver executable is safe. If you’re absolutely sure the app came from the right source, you can force macOS to accept it.
- Click on in the top left of your screen, then on System Settings
- Click on Privacy & Security
- Scroll down until you see the following:
- Click on the drop down, and select App Store & Known Developers
- macOS will ask you for an administrator password, or administrator biometrics
You should now be able to launch RapidWeaver.
Cheers,
Erwin
Thank you Erwin,
I wasn’t aware, that RapidWeaver isn’t anymore with SetApp license.
Now I have to sort this out.
