RapidWeaver Elements 2.2.8 Now Available

Hey Weavers,

Over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes building out the next phase of the Elements Store, all with one big goal: bringing third-party developers into the ecosystem.

That work has now reached its first major milestone, and we’re excited to say we now have ten third-party developers officially onboard.

We’ve also brought free Projects back into the main app, making it even easier for new users to get started with Elements right away.

With this first phase complete, our focus now shifts back to the core app, new components, and of course, the launch of Elements CMS 2 — More on that in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, make sure you update to the latest version. Full details on what’s changed are below.

What’s New in 2.2.8?

  • Improved automatic store interface updates
  • Fixed an issue with links on Clasic Project imports
  • Added automatic submission approval options for third-party developers
  • Added North Eleven Project
  • Added Microblog Project
  • Added Link In Bio Project

The Future of Web Design

Thanks for being part of Elements and for helping us shape the future of web design on the Mac. Your feedback during the beta has been hugely valuable and played a big role in where Elements goes from here.

We’re excited to keep building, refining, and shipping, and we really can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.

Thanks
Team Elements

Thanks for the new build. Found some glitch in the UI. If you have gotten the standard themes (Link In Bio, North Eleven, …) from the store previously, they are now showing doubled in New project/Your library. The second instance is initially blanked leaving an empty space in the UI. When you scroll down, the blanked areas are again shown with the theme name. In below pictures you can watch this with the Link In Bio project.

I’d recommend uninstalling those projects from the store to fix this glitch:

That did it mostly. Thank you! One project always comes back that is Fitness. After closing and re-opening Elements and heading to the store once, Fitness is back under the installed projects and the double glitch is back for it. The others are gone though.
