The Future of Web Design

Thanks for being part of Elements and for helping us shape the future of web design on the Mac. Your feedback during the beta has been hugely valuable and played a big role in where Elements goes from here.

We’re excited to keep building, refining, and shipping, and we really can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.

Thanks
Team Elements

I have not updated yet but spent the afternoon re-doing my old classic site in readiness for publishing it on Elements Hosting and I’m blown away at the simplicity of what you can achieve with little input. Obviously I now need to add content to the framework but it’s going to be e a lot easier for me. Sadly you just two days late on multiple imports but singularly worked too!.

Keep up the great work!

I’m getting a lot of crashes with this version when trying to preview. It seems to be having problems connecting to the local server.

I can’t see any crash reports in our system from you. If it happens again, can you submit the report so we can dig into it?

Yes, for some reason when it happens, a crash report is not generated. I did a restart and also updated to OS 26.5.1 today, and so far it is behaving as expected.

BTW: I also still get crashes from time to time. I reported this a few weeks ago already: when I use the preview in the Vivaldi browser and then close one of the preview windows while publishing, Elements completely closes afterwards — either after saving or after publishing — without giving me a crash report.

Because of that, I switched the preview browser in Elements to Safari, and until today I hadn’t had any more crashes. But now I’m seeing the same issue there as well.

What kind of report can I send you so that you can take a closer look at this problem?

Hmmm, does elements not prompt you to submit the crash report?

We’ll look into this tomorrow (Tuesday).
