I suggest publishing a Rapidweaver reader app that can allow people to take a look into RW project files or even make minor changes to the texts. That way you could open RW to a totally new level of cooperative webdesign in which one chief designer is in charge of the layout and the website’s structure, whereas the editors could modify and update the information provided in the text pages.

Sounds like you are talking about a CMS? If so there are already some third-party solutions for that for RapidWeaver Classic.
