Recommendations for MD create/edit

I am exploring Blogs. What do people recommend as a good creator/editor of MD files?

I think Apple Notes app will work for me since the newest version can now export .md files.

I use BEAR, which works very well. I initially create the MD files in Bear and then copy the contents to an MD file created in Elements. I do all the editing in Elements after the initial creation of the file.

I have also used just Elements to create some of the files, as it is perfectly capable of editing the markdown. My primary reason for using Bear is that it enables better previewing of the output.

Thanks both, I have Bear so that’s easy and I didn’t realise Notes could export MD as well.

I can recommend MarsEdit. A really great tool for creating Markdown files for blogs. I especially like the direct integration with blog systems such as WordPress and others.

I could really imagine this working well with the Elements CMS.

MarsEdit would work great IF it had FTP integration… but I don’t think it does…

Yep! @dan maybe have a developer-to-developer chat … and show him some interesting possibilities. I could imagine this as a win-win for Elements and MarsEdit ^^
