Sorry, I haven’t used Rapid Weaver for ages and just downloaded elements. My question is this. I downloaded one of your templates but would like to replace the background image. I do understand I think how to replace them. However, I can’t see anywhere what size my replacement images should have. Where can I see what the optimum Minimum sizes so I can create appropriate replacement images.
1600 x however tall you want 300 350 400 450 etc
There’s no single “perfect” size for background images, it really depends on the design of your site and how that image is being used. Some templates use full-width banners, others only show a cropped portion, and different layouts will scale or crop the image in different ways.
In general it’s a balance between visual quality and file size. Larger images look great on big screens but come with a performance cost, while smaller images load faster but may look soft on high-resolution displays.
A good all-round starting point is something around 1600–2000px wide, with the height depending on how tall your banner section is (often 300–500px). This keeps things sharp without being unnecessarily large.
