Having never done this, these are my questions. Should I first delete all the Classic files before uploading the elements site. Or will the Elements site replace and delete the Classic site. Or over-right them.

Purely as a backup/backup/backup type of person, I would suggest you set up a subdomain load ELEMENTS into subdomain, check everything and refine things like SEO etc, before you delete anything.Then when your happy migrate the subdomain to full domain. I am sure you have done this but I am always a bit weary about deleting something thats working and then ending up with problems!
Thanks. Right now I have the site in a subdomain that’s not the subdomain of the classic site. I was going to change the publishing settings to my Classic settings.
