Resources folder naming protocol

Hi all, Quick question. Does it matter how we name our resource folders. For example I’m creating new resource folders for the images on each page. I’m using capital letters and “-” in the folder naming convention. Is this OK or should every folder name contain lower case characters and underscores?

Elements will make things web safe when you publish, but ideally you should make everything web safe yourself then you know the url of the resource won’t change

The Linux nerd in me screams all lowercase, no spaces, and dashes (not underscores) to separate words… and stick with that naming convention across everything.

Your naming is correct; “clear-mac” and “clear-ios” are the way to go.

I changed all the folder names in Resources to lowercase letters after this info and no spaces. Before I had capital letters at the beginning. Good info.

and of course only lowercase for the files: italy-venice-gondola- … .jpg or webp
